1. You can now have over 1,000 participants in a WhatsApp group. (This one is kinda old though)
2. Group members can now see past participants of their groups. That is people that either left or were removed from the group.
3. You can now edit a message after sending it. You have about 15 minutes after sending the message to do this and the message is sent with an “Edited” tag underneath.
4. Group members can now add other participants to a group even without being group admins.
5. You can lock a few chats and they can only be accessed by Face ID or fingerprint.
6. There are new beautiful fonts for text on WhatsApp status.
7. Links posted as captions for photos or videos on WhatsApp status are now clickable!!
8. You can now turn on a setting that AUTOMATICALLY shares all your WhatsApp status updates to your Facebook story.
9. You can restore a message after deleting it by clicking undo. You have about 15 seconds after deleting to do this.
10. There’s a new feature that allows you transfer your chats from Android to iPhone or vice versa with just one click.
11. Group settings can now easily be changed with just one button.
12. Group admins can now turn on a setting that requires every new person to be approved before they can join a group.
13. You can now send voice notes as long as 30 seconds to your WhatsApp status.
14. You can now combine your groups together to form a community. This feature is only available on the WhatsApp messenger application at the moment.
15. More advanced privacy and security settings have also been introduced.
