LYING TO SELL OR PERSUADING TO SELL

I have been wanting to write about this since last year because of the too many fake screenshots and hyping about a particular market(I will not call names but those involve know). I have always frown at the lies people cook up just to sell their services and products.

In today's world, it's more important than ever to be able to sell. Whether you're a business owner, a freelancer, or just someone who wants to make a little extra money on the side, you need to be able to convince people to buy what you're selling because the truth is no one will pay for anything they are not convinced about.

But there's a big difference between lying to sell and using the art of copywriting to sell, Yes, you read it right.

Lying to sell is simply telling people things that aren't true in order to get them to buy your product or service. A product that you have not confirm it's effectiveness because you want sell, you are writing fake reviews just to sell.

The painful one is the guys that pay for a night in hotel and start doing video of how they are leaving their best life after making 8 figures within 2weeks. whaaat?????

This is unethical and can damage your reputation in the long run. There are people in this space I can never pay for their products or services because they lie to sell.

Copywriting, on the other hand, is the art of using words to persuade people to take action. It's about using language to tap into people's emotions and desires, and to make them see the value in what you're selling.

Caution: Don't use your copywriting skills also to persuade people to pay for things that will not be valuable to them because you know how to play with words too.

When done right, copywriting can be a powerful tool for selling. But it's important to remember that copywriting is not about lying. It's about telling the truth in a way that is persuasive and engaging.

Some Tips On How To Use The Art Of Copywriting To Sell:

• Know Your Audience: Who are you trying to sell to? What are their needs and desires? Once you know your audience, you can tailor your copy to appeal to them.

• Be clear and concise: People don't have time to read long, rambling sales pitches. Get to the point quickly and clearly. Even me writing this, if you want to sell something to me and you send me to a link that I will spend more than 5mins in, you have just lost a customer, Lol.

• Use strong visuals: People are more likely to remember something if they see it. Use images and videos to help illustrate your points.

• Use testimonials: People are more likely to trust a product or service if they see that other people have had a positive experience with it. Use testimonials from satisfied customers to build credibility. Real testimonials not fake or cooked up stories. There is something about doing business and being plain, it comes with internal peace of mind.

• Offer A Guarantee: People are more likely to buy something if they know they can get their money back if they're not satisfied. Offer a money-back guarantee to give people peace of mind.

I remember the first time I paid for someone online, it was because the guy said there will be refund if the product didn't work, Lol, unfortunately guy man product was not as good as He claimed, call the guy and He said there is no way He can refund money after 48hrs.

In conclusion, help yourself and others to have peace of mind when you tell the truth while selling. You don't really have to lie because you want to get someone's money.

However with this few points of mine, you can use the art of copywriting to sell your products and services effectively. But remember, the most important thing is to be honest and truthful. If you do that, you'll build a reputation for being trustworthy, and people will be more likely to do business with you in the future.
